Hi, I am running a unit of GPSmap 60CSx

From MFM v1.63 onwards,
MFM map will be coded in a new format. Older devices such at GPSMAP 60CS or Garmin Que will not be able to read new MFM maps. Please use MFM v1.62

I just check that the link provided is broken,
anyone have the MFM v1.62 copy?

Your GPSmap 60CSx can use the new format.

hi moderators, is this map still current because i saw the post is since 2008. i tried the MFM map(i forgot what version) the other day when i was driving from KL to Penang. However, the map route me to subang jaya and exit to penang. it's very long journey. luckily my wife ask me not to use the route and we took another exit which was shorther path.

Yes, the map is latest.

You should check the map name, MFM-Garmin YYMMDD

YY - Year
MM - Month
DD - Day
Snake Chia

hi there.im newbie.already installing the garmin map MFM latest one.but i cant c the POI icon like surau,7-11 etc.whats wrong?i make a mistake during instaalation at mapsource? :rox:

For newer Nuvi, its firmware prevents display of custom POI.
