Hi all, newbie reporting...I'm in Penang. Using Nuvi205 with new MFM120109 and Papago X5.1 in my Samsung Galaxy S with Malfreemaps.com 100415. Fantastic! :peace:

Welcome to mfm. The most recent (and LAST) Papago map for the X5 is here: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=11758. Currently mfm only updates Papago map for the X8 version.

Hi everyone..
I'm new here. Firstly I would like to thanks you all for your effort to make sure everyone get help from site....
I got Garmin nuvi 1440, I bought from UK..


This is my quick question, can I use my satNav in Malaysia..since map on the satNav are for Europe country...
If I could use my satNav in Malaysia, what should I do to make it usable?

Welcome to mfm. You can use your 1440 here in Malaysia provided that it is loaded with a 'Malaysian' map. You are fortunate that mfm has compiled maps for this region. The latest version is the mfm120116, here: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=8442

hi everybody,
thank god there's a place to share local gps point/log here. i'm amri from kuala lumpur. being doing mountain guiding as full time job. hope we can share knowledge together here. there's still a lot for me to study about gps. tq
