If Papago Z820 can updgrade to X8.5, wonder why my Z880 cannot upgrade, both are based on the 400MHz Samsung 2443 CPU with SiRFstar III GPS and 2GB NAND Flash.

so is the word out from Eastgear? z880 is a useless piece of GPS from now on?

For those with z880, do not ditch the hardware yet.
It is still usable as I have managed to run it in x8.5 with the new maps over the sd-card.
will test further if it is stable / accurate in the z880 body.

Ask for some help from your friends / family living in KL to do it for you.
Because there is no other way except going to their service center.

as previously when i used garmin, i able to set avoid gps guide user from small road which is using shortcut path.
but when i bought papago, it always lead me to shortcut path, and the seller told me papago unable to avoid those "small road"
isn't it true?

There is something called Courier Service or Postlaju. Call M3 to make arrange to ship it back. It may cost some money but it beats traveling 400Km to have it done... Hope this helps.

is it enable update to X8 version and hardware supported?
if can and how to update it. can i download from internet and do it myself?

Hi,

I noticed that previously, before updating my WayWay Q4331 unit to X8.5, I was able to (if I remember correctly) input Favorites by character recognition (by drawing the characters on the screen with the stylus), as well as use lower case letters.

Now, there is no option to use lower case or character recognition.

What happened to those features?

I retract my statement.
It seems all Flyaudio head units comes with genuine papago softwares.

Yes you can update your Papago software, but only if you go to their service center.
Flyaudio head units uses Windows CE, so it can be updated easily by M3GPS technician.

You must bring your car to their service center and let them have a look at your headunit.
