Hey there.. could anyone show me how to update my Garmin nuvi 205? I need a new map. I have not update it for 2 years alrealy.

You can find the latest mfm Garmin map here: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=8442. Just run the installer.

Download MFM installer via this link : viewtopic.php?p=123970#p123970

Run the installer to generate map file gmapsupp.img.

Suggest you select remove polygons as your unit may not have enough resources to run map ( lag )

Copy the gmapsupp.img into SD card /garmin directory

Just install on my friend Garmin GPS (update mfm map) but when on gps map not visible.
Before this I don't have any problem updaete MFM map with 255W & 2575R.
Just copy paste on older map (mfm) same map name.
Older MFM map disappear at all.
Open tools / setting / map / map info just have Thailand map v9.0 (No Pain).
Before this have MFM map 2009.
Check via PC new MFM map still there in Garmin folder.

This thread is about Nuvi 205. You stated Nuvi 255W and 2575R.
Which GPS are you having problem with?

Please counter check that you have put map into SD card/garmin under file name gmapsupp.img and it is not corrupt

On my Nuvi 205.
Just share installed on my 255W & 2575R.
Map file's name gmapsupp.img.
File not coruppted.
