Traveling from Pekan to Kuantan, one should turn right at the junction of Jalan Gambang-Jalan Sultan Abu Bakar (blue arrow).
Current map is requesting for a left turn at the junction and u-turn some distance away. This was the old route before the existing bypass existed

Accidentally found this huge error whilst navigating from Singapore to Kuantan with the routing always either wanting to route through Segamat highway or through Muadzam Shah via highway 63.
Using Mapsource to create a route from a point in Pekan south of Sungai Pahang to north of Sungai Pahang, will route southbound Pekan via Muadzam Shah and Jalan Batu Balik and finally back to Pekan north of Sungai Pahang.

Too general. Please provide more information. eg: GPS co-ords of start point to end point.
Which is the best route etc.

It is a merit to forgive others:
The more we forgive the more merit we collect.
(Upload your contribution to MFM drop box if you don't want others to take your contributed tracklogs or POIs. )

To reproduce:
1) Routing from Singapore to Kuantan via Pekan, using point on causeway N bound (N1 27.389 E103 46.064) and end point is at a point along Jalan Sultan Abdul Aziz (N3 50.604 E103 17.821) with via point N3 29.544 E103 25.005 in Pekan, map will produce a route that goes north all the way to via point and then back tracks south back to Muadzam Shah and then using highway 63, joining highway 12 and then finally back to Jalan Sultan Abdul Aziz in Kuantan
2) Now take an arbitrary point on causeway N bound (N1 27.389 E103 46.064), via Jalan Sultan Abu Bakar (N3 30.449 E103 23.708) and end point is at a point along Jalan Sultan Abdul Aziz (N3 50.604 E103 17.821). Route will be via Segamat Highway and then via Jalan Batu Balik and back to Pekan, before going north to Kuantan
3) Take a point along Jalan Sultan Abu Bakar (N3 29.733 E103 23.143) just before Jalan Terentang junction in Pekan and route it to a point along Jalan Sultan Abu Bakar 1 (N3 30.624 E103 23.689), map will route you south towards Muadzam Shah, via highway 63, then highway 12 and then via Jalan Batu Balik and finally back to Jalan Abu Bakar 1
4) Lastly trying to route from a point N3 30.057 E103 22.873 along Highway 3 before traffic light at T-Junction of Sultan Abu Bakar to a point along Jalan Sultan Abu Bakar (N3 30.074 E103 22.872) just after the same traffic light will also route you south towards Muadzam Shah, via highway 63, then highway 12 and then via Jalan Batu Balik and finally back to Jalan Abu Bakar, although the distance between the 2 points should not be more than 50m
