Re: Melaka Error Reporting
The whole road names in Taman Bukit Katil Indah are wrong. The correct name is Jalan Bukit Katil Indah 1,2,3 etc and not Jalan Bukit indah 1,2...

Bro Sunn!
Last Wednesday I've a trip to Everly Resort Hotel(ERH) at Tanjung Kling Melaka started from Pantai Hillpark KL. When I plan my route to destination, it was guiding me via Pedas Linggi. (GPS was set to fastest route & no avoidance). I know driving via "N" road will take me longer time even though shorter in distance (PedasLinggi tol>N9>N5>ERH=51km) so I've decide to reroute via Simpang Ampat. (frm Pedas E2>Lebuh 191>M7>N5>ERH=57km but fastest in time). But lol, when reach Simpang Ampat, GPS guide me back via Lubuk China M10>MasjidTanah N5>ERH=73.5km)?????
(FYI, no via point was set for that route)
Any idea why thing like this happen?????

Re: Melaka Error Reporting
Breaks in KTM Railway line
I realise that most members may not be too concerned with this.
In December, I took a train ride from Butterworth to Singapore and followed the progress on my GPS. I noticed in several areas where the KTM railway line just disappeared (while the train was in the open and not in a tunnel) but regret I did not note them down. Some of the breaks also appeared in the MSM map but the MFM map had more breaks.
Having just remembered, I checked the MFM v1.40 in MapSource and can only see 2 breaks both in Melaka. One of the breaks occurred at the NS-Melaka state boundary which showed another error of a double boundary as reported by others already.
The attached gdb file pin-points the breaks.
Are they really breaks or has the line entered a tunnel?

Do you have the tracks of your train ride? Please upload if you have.

Re: Melaka Error Reporting
msports,
I am not sure why you have this routing from Simpang Ampat via Lubuk China. Tested (Mapsource & Mobile XT) from Pantai Hillpark to Everly Resort Hotel proved right as per your attachment "ERH best route, fastest".
I do have this problem when I do not follow the route plotted by GPSr from my departure point to my destination. Is it software problem or out settings?
Anyway, I have did some adjustments to the maps. So if you do travel up to Everly Resort Hotel again please feedback.
Regards
