Damn, i was trying to upgrade from GMXT 5.00.20 to 5.00.30 but it gives me this error on my Nokie E71.. Unable to install!

can anyone assist me? appreciate muchest! tq :)

Thank you bro.. i removed E:\Garmin folder and re-installed GMXT 5.00.30 on my Nokie E71.. everything works perfectly now! Wow the performance is very much improved on this version.. GPS hook up is very fast compare to the older version.. Map drawing on screen is smoother and it's a great!

I wonder whether GMXT has a function to capture screenshot.. hmmm..

Hi All,

I had just upgraded my 5800's GMXT to the latest version e.g. v5.00.30. However I noticed that GMXT will terminate abruptly if i activate the Turn Preview option. Anyone else facing the same problem? Any workaround? BTW, I'm on FW20..

Yes! that is the culprit! I don't use it! If I were to use it vertically then I turn it on, If I were to use it horizontally then I turn it off to aviod being crash and return to nokia menu.

the thing about nokia nowadays, its that with almost all new nokia phones, there will be tonnes of bugs.. it will take some firmware updates to iron the glitches out..

my n95 for instance.. was a pain in the ass initially.. but after 6 firmware updates, the phone bcame very stable and enjoyable to use..

thus.. bear with nokia for the time being. I am counting my lucky stars for not getting a faulty or encounter any problems so far..

Just google around. Find out 3rd party application which is related to screen capture and install :tq:
