the differences are lane assist and street names.
still no mention about track log features.

would the above two features working with MFM?

yes both of them.
lane assist is not supported yet. i think it will take lots of time for it to be supported since it needs photos of those junctions

Presently, both only have Trip Log but there are indications that 1-sec track log is also inherent in the hardware which can be activated by the appropriate software (firmware patch). Keep an eye on THIS thread for future announcement of good news.

I'm not sure of the 205w or the older 255w, but I'd like to point out that the new US-based 255w (with Junction View) appears to have Audio Version 1.00, which isn't compatible with most of the replacement TTS voices out there like British-Emily and Australian-Karen . The voice files are around 1MB, compared with 10MB-ish, so you're pretty much stuck with US-Jack and US-Samantha.

I hope they come out with an upgrade for the audio soon :(

bro wsjihan,

I managed to patch my 205W (HWID 0827) to do 1-second track logs. See: http://www.malfreemaps.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1616&p=27709#p27709. My trip to Seri Iskandar today was logged by my 'new' nuvi205W and my Qstarz. Tracks recorded by both are identical, with 1-second intervals.
