I think so. So far no need to use any GPS bluetooth device to communicate with my HTC HD.
Currently, I'm using Garmin XT on my htc HD and Dell Axim X51V+ GPS bluetooth receiver Holux M-1000. It observed the my Garmin XT which installed in htc HD took about few seconds before showing 0 rpm even my car already stopped few minutes before. So, how could I improve the accuracy of the system. No problem observed on my Dell Axim.

Secondly, how could I the MFM updated into my htc HD?. Is it just simply removed the previous map and reinstall with the new one?. I just bought the htc HD and It was installed with their Garmin XT software. Since I noticed the map and POI are not the latest/up to date compared to what we're having here, the map was removed and then reinstalled with our map. Later problem observed where the GPS system cannot run smoothly. Then, went back to the shop, they reinstalled back the system and working well but sometimes unable to receive satellite signal when on highway and the speed (at GPS system) showing 0 rpm. So, how can it be solved?

Hi jun2020,

I used Mapsource to download my POIs to PC. Then I just send the POI to my device once I'm done re-installing garmin or whatever that I planned to do on my PDA.

Just open Mapsource, and connect your PDA via USB (make sure you have run GMXT).
I cannot remember exactly where, but in Mapsource theres an option to send from device to pc.
There you can choose to send POI only.

Hope that helps.

Look for the file garmin_wpt.nvm in your device's Garmin folder... Save that file as that would be where all your personal POI are recorded in...

This way version 5 and ver 4 would not worked. Copy from device\Garmin\gpx\current.gpx for backup. The full prove way was by using mapsource receive from device for backup. Sent to device for restore it back into PDA.

i prefer the mapsource send to/receive from device method. apart from backup purpose, u can also send it to other garmin devices & software. i have the same set of POIs for GMXT, nuvi & GM PC
from Garmin Que for Pocket PC to Garmin Mobile XT for Windows Mobile to Nuvi 205W to Papago M9 for Android & now Garmin Nuvi 2576.

Garmin Mobile XT 5.00.30TW. It can used for different version refer to picture All Version.

For GMSUP(THAI) and GMXT(US)5.00.00w the speed and arrival time was well small.

GMXT 5.00.30TW, the speed and arrival time was big and nice.
I used GMXT because it have more maps in the world. And worked good with MFM map. I can Noni GPSplot to record tracks, POIs with trace back function.

A good PDA for GPS navigation.

Garmin don't sell product key and wanted you to purchase the 2GB MSD. I was using a Sandisk Ultra 16GB. No interest the 2GB msd. So not buy any.
