Sifus silverbeauty, my set originally only comes with 3D Lankmark (Taiwan) and City Navigator Taiwan NT v8.62 Laneinfo (1) Taiwan City Navigator w/Lane Info NT only, dont have any other else for supporting map Nuvi.

I heard a guy from Low Yat Shop said that I need another NT maps which is support asia map, Is it true???

Your set is a Taiwan set, not Sing/Mal set. Thus, unless you can manage to get the City Navigator NT Sing/Mal v4.0x map and the corresponding 3D Building image file (think it's gmap3d.img), your set won't function like the recently launched 765 Sing/Mal set.

Bro Chaicka, eventhough I download the City Navigator NT Sing/Mal v4.0x map, but garmin still not allow me to have unlock code for this Taiwan set, so I have no ideal at all already...hainnnnn.. .

For this machine, where can I try to hard reset?

You need to buy the map which will come with unlock code from Garmin

For this machine, where can I try to hard reset?
If I remember correctly just power up while holding top left hand corner of screen and it will bring up a maintenance screen and ask you whether you want to reset the unit.

You do not need to buy Garmin NT Map to use MFM map. Just download our map, install in mapsource and transfer to your unit SD card / garmin. Go to MAIN MENU - TOOLS - MAP - MAP INFO and disable all other maps except MFM. That's it

He is wrong. Unless you want Lane Assist to work you need not buy the Garmin NT Sin-Mal map. JCV will only work with 2009.3 version MSM map. Later version has this feature disabled by "firmware+map"

Is there any other differences between (Taiwan) vs (MY/SIN)?

(Taiwan) firmware got no Junction View function, except for lane assist, whereas (MY/SIN) supported for both functions.

So can I say that the only differences is the software installed into the devices..

And now the cost - how is the price range getting from Taiwan compared to the price SIN$549?

Does the 765 SG/MY can display the custom POI icons (example Maybank, CIMB, Proton,...) correctly with MFM map?
Can someone send me the gupdate.gcd file to me, please ?

Good newe for Taiwanese
City Navigator Taiwan NT v8.63 Laneinfo (1) Taiwan City Navigator w/Lane Info NT was ready for download at the Garmin Taiwan website. This map updates consist of 318mb - very big file size!!! but you must register with the Taiwan unit only can allow to download, I was under downloading this file, maybe more a lot 3d building and lane assist is available.

However, I owned this Nuvi 765 ( Taiwan ) but dont have this luck to enjoy because I'm in Malaysia suppose to have this benefit, hainnnn.....

Actually I bought this Nuvi765 + Ori Case is NT10490, is about RM 1165. For Nuvi 765 ( Taiwan ), have all the features & funtions - Junction View ( Lane Assist, 3D building )

765 SG/MY can display the custom POI icons as long as the set is Local 765, is not mine (765 Taiwan).

Then it will perfect if I can get the 765 MY/SG gupdate.gcd for me to try to load it to my 755T US.
