65% of Johor is probably a good estimate. In between Pagoh to Labis there are many kampung not yet in the map. Maybe this coming raya I'll have the time to explore more. Someone should have followed the recent Kembara Mahkota Johor, some of the place they visited are not even in MFM yet.

Good suggestion bro to follow Kembara Mahkota Johor & we can get tracked many rural areas. :peace:

antyong wrote:I was asked this question occasionally, "How many % of Malaysia and Singapore roads has MFM map covered?". My answer was, "I am not sure...."

Probably the best way to answer is to group the roads by their classes:
  • highways: 100%
  • federal roads (excluding Felda roads): 100%
  • state roads: 90%
  • town roads: 80%
  • kampung/Felda roads: 20%

* above figures are my assumptions only

Use MFMv1.65 as reference, consider all tarred roads passable by car

[*]Singapore - <90% - there are still plenty of smaller tarred roads - eg. those private estates, alleys, carpark roads untrack.

Puchong also ~95% covered except new development which I'm still hunting....either Thiang or me..or Zamad..Tuah covers car park..

Those areas ~Jln Kebun/Kota Kemuning Bkt Rimau South - ~90% ..North of Bkt kemuning & at the new gated Kemuning Utama 2- lotsa of areas still u/c or no coverage ---probably 75% :-k

Johan Setia towards Banting - Kampung roads - 85% coverage

Old Shahpadu Highway area (kampung roads) -80% covberage

In Perak (Very big potential for trackers to be) =D> :

Bidor/Tapah/Sungkai/Tlk Intan/Sungkai (60%)
Kg bt12 near Chui Chak(0% coverage--haizz...). ](*,)
Sitiawan, sri manjung, Lumut (60%),
Kg Gajah /Pasir Salak (50%)
Air Tawar near sitiawan -40% nia ](*,)

Infact in general the whole of Central -Southern Perak region except Ipoh & Northern side) are not well covered...

Wah, bro chaicka, with your definition, even the short 20m driveway outside my house is not in 1.65 leh... that would mean Singapore is probably only 60% covered

I was thinking from a foreigner angle and I do think 99% of roads are already covered...... it's ok.. more work to do... =D>

I've tracked 2 parking lots before, one at Desa Parkcity and another is Serdang Hospital. It seems that not even a single lot reserved for bro Sunn, So it was rejected!
