Nuvi 265W Vs Nuvi 760

Is the nuvi 265W better than the nuvi 760?

I was so tempted t but the 265W when I bought the 760 last week.... It was that 760 $30 more so I grab this instead.

Its only been a week and it may still be possible to exchange for a different model...

The question you should ask yourself is what features vs price do you want / need out of a GPS and not which is better. There will ALWAYS be something better out there ... :-'

no website lists the cpu specs??

Since the 265w is not using the SiRF Star III, then it should be the ARM926 Processor, but does that really affect your decision ?

Personally, for electronic gadgets, I will not buy one that has been discontinued, and the nuvi760 has been discontinued.

IMHO, if the price is right, the needs fulfilled and still carry full factory warranty, then it is still a good buy.

Hi,

ok, I called the shop and its been 10days since I purchased the 760. I remember they also had the 265W. Should I swap it? The price is cheaper by $30... But if the 265W model is faster then I should swap right? Please let me know... The 765 model is out of my budget. I dont need the FM transmitter which the 760 model has. I also dont need mp3...

ok, just came back from the shop and returned the 760. Instead, I got the TomTom GO 730!
