It's a trend that most Taman turn out to be Gated Community and guarded by security. About 80-90% Security Officers has done their duty well. Look at these examples;

"Encik saya dari MFM mau bikin map jalan" - Access denied!
"Encik saya dari Jabatan Peta mau bikin peta jalan" - Access denied!
"Encik saya mau jalan-jalan tengok rumah, mau beli rumah" - Sometimes access granted!
"Encik saya mau pergi rumah kawan", 'Siapa nama kawan', err err tak apalah!

Some of the so called gated comunity are not actually a gated comunity. Some of the taman people hire security company to guard the taman. This is not a true gated comunity as the road belong to the puclic and the puclic can access the road at any time. The guards are powerless to stop you from entering the area.

For a true gated comunity, the road belong to the management company, as such, this is consider a private road. Then only they can stop you from entering the taman.

As for the guarded taman, I will argue with the guard to let me in and normally they will let me in. But, there was one time the guard followed me until I finish my track. Nasib baik tak ramai org,

Good point! :thumbsup:

MOST DON'T KNOW WHAT GPS IS

I accompanied a counsel (lawyer) to a secured/security area to get and witnessed an inmate to sign a legal document.

Before leaving my car parked at the front compound of the area, I just dislodge my Nuvi 250 from the wind screen holder and put it in my shirt's pocket.

At the main gate the warden ask both the counsel and me to hand over our wallet; handphone and my small digi camera (I use to bring along a small camera, wherever I go) and put them in a compartment and gave us a key each. We were only allowed to bring into the compound file with paper document and a small bag with rubber stamps and stamp pads.

The warden/guard notice this Nuvi in my top left poket, and ask me what it was. I told them that it's GPS. He was looking each other blinking and I beleive they do not know what it was. But the officer incharge let me bring it along.

At the second gate we were checked again, and again I was asked what the unit was. Same answer and we were let in. But this time after two steps from the Guard, my Nuvi alerted me "LOST SATELLITES RECEPTION". (I forgot to switch it off)

WOW!!, you know what happen after that .......

I leave it to your own imaginations.

Regards
