Kenwood KVT 739DVD with Garmin KNA G43

Postby drman » Wed Jan 21, 2009 6:41 pm

Hello sifus and senior brothers.

I'm using Garmin KNA G430 and viewed by Kenwood 739DVD. I have installed MFM 1.35 and the map is functioning except for the customised icon for POI is not appear. I have installed both way "Full" and "Custom POI" (Road POI and POI label were ticked/selected) but the result is still the same. Icon from Garmin (as you can see is shown up - sorry for the poor image). Please advised. :-?

Another issue with this unit is how to use the Custom POI as I need to use the POI Loader to install the Custom POI (for the speed trap etc.) and POI Loader needs to use the .csv files. Is the MSM custom POI can be use in MFM map? Please advise me :-?

MFM's customised POI icons doesn't show on my Kenwood too.
Not a problem at all, but would be great if it can be enabled. :D

It's a limitation of the unit software.
However, those custom POI icons in *.gpi files which you install into the unit's POI folder will appear.
