Just downloaded from MFM and uploaded the latest release V1.16. Wow! the map is very colourful now with more polygons than before. I could also see my contributions in this release =D>

Still the POIs for Petrol station/Banks/Traffic Lights still not visible during 3D Navigation.....nonetheless the maps are very nice indeed =D> =D>

firmware v4.00 available... use webupdater to update :)

Correct me if I am wrong. There is no tracking feature in 200W. Amazingly GMXT has this function.

there's no tracking feature in 200w or any Nuvi 200 series.

For What I know, Only nuvi 200w US version with software version 2.70
And Nuvi 200 US version with Software version 3.40
Has tracking feature. :D

how do activate the tracking feature in 200w?

Hi seethoe,

You need to have firmware version 2.70 in your nuvi unit. Please check your nuvi firmware version, you may need to upgrade/downgrade to have this feature.

Old nuvi 200W upgrade firmware for nuvi 205W

Dear Sir
Any one can upgrade nuvi 200W to nuvi200W firmware
when will garmin upgrade all Nuvi 200W series with 205W firmware look and feel is much better and more feature screen at 205W.

Your post create more questions than answers. What are you trying to do?... update your 200w firmware to 205w or you want to know if a 205w style firmware for 200w is available? You cannot use the 205w firmware for your 200w and you have to ask Garmin for any new interface for your 200w... cheers!

Actually I am tempted to try that on my 200W #-o

Few months back, did some others stuff, and conk out my 200W, had to send it back to garmin taiwan for repair, and they were kind enough to allow a warranty claim as it was within the warranty period :-'
Contribute exclusively to MFM. MSM don't get it !
