Car Workshop POI in SG

Postby carmania » Wed Dec 30, 2009 2:57 pm

Hi Admin and moderators,

I'm a car/motorpsport mania and i have couple hundred of workshop listings for Singapore.

I would like to share these points with our fellow MFM forummers...

Since car GPS is mainly used in cars, would there be any unlucky incidents, i hope my list of workshops would help to ease the hassles...

Please advice how do i go about passing fellow Admin or Moderator of such informations

There are 2 ways you can contribute.

Either you can pm to sotongkia for them to be placed into map as POIs.

or

You can create your own custom POIs, so for those who can opt to install this custom POIs into their Garmin devices.
Everyone contribute a bit, eventually we can enjoy and benefit more in our navigation.

aaah, I C yr enthousiasm has got the better of your efforts for the field work???

Not a real problem actually, and like all others contributing, take your tme but do it diligently as there is room for everyone going after and establishing those coordinates. So, select each and every one and work on them single handedely at yr own selected pace and pursue accordingly as instructed in the guidelines.... All the best and stay active, we will look out for your contribution for sure!!!

I believe the mapper for papago will do the conversion of data from garmin platform to Papago platform, why not you create that data in garmin mapsource and sent to bro antyong, he will probably do the conversion. :-k

I doubt that is the way the mappers will find it helpful and incidentally, it would start off well & positively when you edit yr profile disclosing just where U R posting from?
I assume U R serious onto this and that can only culminate to your benefit win time to come when you also attend organised GG Meets which is key to transparency and your person being appreciated by all Sifus seeing you eventually.

Start on this first and there will be helpful & knowledgeable members who will assist you once they can see you for your part show trust on MFM forum and the members will trust you too by being prepared to assist you and not with a "phantom" poster la....

I'm from Singapore and i'm a staff from Auto I, a new car magazine. We have published a few issue and we're pretty new.

Ermm.. What is GG meeting? Pardon me for not knowing the terms... I'm new to GPS and i see that such data that i have would help the end user. Time for me to contribute back to MFM of what i've been using from MFM - The MAPS!

Errmm... sorry again... what is phantom poster?
