If you have done both the following:

1. Replaced the entire content of the MFM folder with the files when you unpack the MFM map S100106
2. You have removed all files from the 090819 map

Then I wouldn't worry about it.

i've done all the steps u ask me to do.. but still the same..
i still get 090819... i have deleted everything that is inside the MFM folders.. & place the S100106 which i installed it to C:\navi\mfm & den copied to my SDcard & den put it back in my device...

No somehow I dont think you have done bothy the above.

What I mean is that the files must be in the ...navi/map/mfm folder in your device and remove all other maps either in the device or in the SD. You must eliminate all other maps. There must be only one map. This will isolate that the problem.

If you have done the above and the map still shows the wrong name, then it is a system glitch.

The way you have described above, I suspect you still have at least 2 maps, one in the device and another in the SD card.

hi ...
Maybe u are using the wrong map. Have u tried using the MFM-Papago Custom 100106 map and extract all those files to MFM folder?

Strange search problems

Postby shawchyn » Mon Jan 11, 2010 11:45 pm

There is a SHELL petrol station @ Jalan Semantan, Kuala Lumpur, which is named as "SHELL J Semantan" or ESSO station called "ESSO J Semantan".

When I use Papago to search for the POI, it won't shown on the list; but if you search for Wisma UN, and look for POI nearby (or you can see it on the map) then it shown.

If you search by directly key in SHELL J Semantan, it fail.

Wondering what is the problem..... :ko:
