I'm working in a multi national company & relocated from Malaysia factory to Chengdu factory in China in last Sept 09. A PDA (HTC HD) has been provided by my company & loaded with this PaPaGO Chinese version (so that I can find my way home & to factory as well as responding timely to the company email  ), so I will assume that it is a legitimate copy (there is CD given together). I'm back to Malaysia now for vacation & CNY. I was using GarminXT in HTC Diamond when I was in Malaysia, however, I had given it to my niece. So, try to load the Malaysia MFM maps into the company PDA - HTC HD. It seems like I'm able to start & load everything with fine, except the display of the naming. Can you help to advise if there is a way to set the profile to display the road naming or do I need to buy separate versions if I travel to different countries (by the way, I may need to travel to Bangkok Thailand mid of this year)? :-? :ko:

Give this a try...look into the maps folder of your Papago folder. Try to fine how many files have the .mb6 extension. Unzip and rename the attached file to accordingly.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

It works! Thank you for your fast respond & help in resolving my headache! U r really good & top Taiko in this forum! Appreciate it!

By the way, is it true that If I want to use the customized version map in my HTC HD, all I need is just to buy & install PaPaGO X5? Or can u recommend what it takes for the customized version map to work in HTC HD?

Hi moderator, it seems that it has been sometime since a new map has been released for papago. Any reason for the delay or why there's sudden lack of map updates.

You must be confused with the map naming, 100106 denotes 6 January 2010, not 10 January 2006. :-'

Anyway, last week Sifu Antyong was taking a break from compiling Papago MFM map, so expect a newer release this week.

Considering that other maps updates are released once a year and MFM is updated weekly and the last update for PaPaGo was 6th Jan 2010, I would say that it has not been long at all since the last update.

actually i download frequently/weekly updates from this website and suddenly notice there's no update about 2 weeks already. So was wondering why there isn't any update.

Anyway big thank you the contributor for the map updates and looking forward to the new maps.

Give our mappers a week rest, after their short sabbatical, they will be back with full power to release new PaPaGo Maps!

Cheers!
