I have also added a new article and struggled to find how to list it under sabre23t's "section".

Finally figured it out, you need to add the appropriate Category under your article.

This wikia thing is yet another thing to get used to - the markup language is totally different from http or phpbb!

Thanks jaguar and rcmaps. I've added both your articles on to the home page for GPSMapsWiki. That's not automatic. You have to edit the home page. However users can use the (view all pages) link, to see articles not linked from the home page.

Yep, learning Wikia's Mediawiki markups is another think to learn. But its one of the most popular wiki markup as used on Wikipedia. So, I'd say learning it is not a waste.

Hee hee bro RC, i humtum only leh .. and I new the category method is not the right method... I also notice you were online at the wikia section and I guess you were also struggling.... wah lao eh.. I was expecting something of a contents page so we can list by number... now everything under the roof of How To... OK la.. .humtum first la... later let wiki bureaucrat figure out how to tidy things up...

I think I have now figured out how to link an article.

You will need to add category AS WELL AS edit the main page to insert a link to your newly created page.

Actually, the reason I started writing articles was to help out enthusiastic but inexperienced members offering to help map Laos & Vietnam maps but were too afraid to take the first step.

Need to encourage and support young blood!

However, I hope by "move", you mean "copying over the good stuff here" and not include "deleting the old stuff there". *snip*

I don't think anyone would notice if I remove my stuff there. If not, there won't be newbies asking questions that have been addressed in Wiki.(which often times make my BP sky rocketed!).
