Ong CC,

Driving from Clementi West towards Commonwealth Avenue West, we can actually make a U-turn back to AYE rather than having to go one big round (see attached). My u-turn avoidance is turned off.

N 01 18.716 E 106 46.065

Tested in Mapsource 6.13.6, able to make a u-turn there back to AYE. - OngCC

Thanks for the quick response, CC. In that case, any clue why my Nuvi 1350 tells me to loop around Commonwealth Ave West and enter AYE further down stream when I could have cut down on distance and time by just making a u-turn there?

I'm using the latest 100308 map.

Hi Toadi, first make sure that only MFM mapset is enabled at Map Info. Next make sure Route Preference is set to Faster Time. Finally, at Avoidances setting disable all except Unpaved Roads.

I found 4 problems during my trip to IT show yesterday, i drove in the tunnel on KPE, so definitely no satellite signal under it, but before enter the tunnel, it shows that "Exit 1 E.C.P in 1.6km" in the end of the tunnel i saw keep left is "E.C.P(CHANGI)", keep right is "E.C.P(CITY)", i wanted to exit CITY that one, but i saw a board "Exit 1" at left side, so i exit left in the end i made a big round to suntec... i suggest that make a "Y" as in pic below clearly indicate that keep left for "E.C.P(CHANGI)" or right for "E.C.P(CITY)" instead of "Exit 1 E.C.P" since the end of the tunnel only got 2 exit and no satellite signal. And the other 3 small problems in the GDP file. :tq:

Routing error:
From point A to B, driving straight through point C is prohibited. Only left and right turn is allowed at the junction.

Some suggestion.

From Bukit timah road to Whitley road, it is better to prompt keep left and then turn right ( before 3. Turn right onto Whitley road). Otherwise it will be too late for driver if they drive on the fly over.

At the junction of Woodlands RD and Senja RD, there is no U-Turn allowed but the routing system indicated a U-Turn at the junction.

Same issue when at the junction of Upper Bukit Timah RD and Gombak Dr. No U-Turn allowed there too.
