Here's the official attendance list for this GG... altogether 71 participants attended. Seven local and one Holland registrants were unable to make it.

Sorry for the confusion. I checked the latest v1.72 map and confirm the exit is listed as 139 Ipoh Selatan (N4 34.837 E101 08.611) instead. Please exit here as this is the last exit to Ipoh for northbound traffic!

However, a photo for JV which bro trekker1 and I took show the exit as Exit 138 instead (please check your PM). Please help us verify and provide feedback if necessary.

I believe, the general perception is slowly but steadily.... catching on when back then, I've been insisting a better co-ordinated and certainly, "organised" gathering is what's needed which would truly reflect the goals and visions of the Mapping Forum community.

This was certainly the role model that is closely gaining pace and in association with what I would like to see continued if not, further improved with "Press" coverage.

Next is to allow, family to participate... this way, it attracts familiarity from all ages and different backgrounds to feel affiliated with a common involvement...which is, the GPS mindset with getting around and that applies to "Zenbu" aka everything & everybody in time to come.

We are still in the initial stages with the pioneering of this field and certainly, adults are the mainstream players and it would be nice, if not being ripe too to have more women coming into the fray and to see it through professionally and organised, those sign-up Registry with name tags is the way to go about it... plus the large signtag promoting the movement!

I look forward to that day when a field is set aside, a humongous crowd in the hundreds, more give-away cups distributed (Sponsors will take care of such logistics), with tents and some programs and workshops to demos is accomplished and many Sponsors wanting to jump in for recognition and when that happens, everyone who uses a GPS with MFM Free maps are the privilege beneficiaries of this vision!!! Money and backing and national recognition is no more a concern nor issue... its a way of life thanks to MFM and of course, Antyong's dedication to pursue this unquestionable course with this Ipoh's GG Meet being the cornerstone...
