UMSC routes and additional POIs.

The MFM's map of the looped road leading to UMSC is slightly incorrect. In the original map, it shows separate entrances and exits, while it should be only one road serving both entrance and exit. GDB file includes the track correction.

Also note there should be a break in the dual carriageway along Jln Universiti, opposite Jln Elmu. Traffic exiting from Jln Elmu can cross over to the other side (at their own risk). Similarly, one can make a U-turn to get to UMSC from Jln Universiti (from Federal Highway). Please see the direct routes, included into this file.


POI additions:

1. Traffic lights are missing at the junctions leading into Universiti Malaya (PJ side).
2. SEACEN central bank training center - it's been there since the 1980s.
3. INTAN training center for government servants (in existence since the 1960s).

Couple of restaurants. Unfortunately they don't meet the criteria in first post this thread. Anyway, since I have logged them here they are: Restoran Mak Jah, next block from Onking N2 59.796 E101 34.387 and Restoran Putra Heights, one of the two Chinese tai chow restaurants. The cook is a Myanmar, the previous Malaysian Chinese cook having left.N2 59.536 E101 34.289. The other Chinese restaurant is near the 7-11 in Putra Bahagia (Sect 2, Putra Heights, in existing malsingmaps)

Restoran Putra Heights closed on Sat 28 Dec, moving to SS18/1B as Restoran Yit Xin.

The other tai chow restaurant-near 7/11 in Putra Bahagia is PTH Seafood Restaurant N3 00.854 E101 34.683. gdb in next post.

(Note had to do two screen dumps for the same post-one for MSM and one for MFM.)

Restoran Putra Heights closed on Sat 28 Dec, moving to SS18/1B as Restoran Yit Xin.

A couple of weeks before Restoran Putra Heights closed, 2 tai chows opened near it in Putra Heights-Prestige Restaurant N2 59.678 E101 34.269 and Restoran Sin Yee Fatt N2 59.565 E101 34.270 (on Christmas day). Restoran Sin Yee Fatt is not open for dinner.

Hi,

I am attaching a print out of the error in the routing when you travel along Jalan Kelang Lama to Taman Desa. The suggested route is always to turn right at Jalan Telok Gadong and then turn into Jalan Morib. However, the road from Jalan Morib to Taman Desa has been blocked by concrete boulders and is now no longer accessible. To get to Taman Desa, you need to ignore this turn and the Nuvi will then give the correct route to Taman Desa.
