No,is each time you use GMXT,not per day.but actually is considered cheaper :D after i have deleted the 'diginet' access point in my Connectivity setting,no more charges for the GMXT already, but slower a bit to get the satelite.

On the HTC TD2, I find that with or without the QuickGPS, the acquisition is pretty fast and decent O:) . When I am in the living room, it can even aquire GPS sats....the downside is the power consumptions is very high when GPS is on.

That`s true, the HD2 is very fast to lock onto Sats. In contrast, my wife`s Omnia II struggles to get a lock; sometimes it takes so long, we just give up.

Yes it does lock quite fast but yesterday I installed the latest ROM update and the sat lock had considerably slowed down.

If you want quick start up, then enable A-GPS.
if you want to save your money, then you will regret for the start up time.
which one do you prefer ?

Hi all,

I am also using Nokia 6710 and Garmin XT 5.00.50. I experience program freeze after doing route recalculation. But I still can hear the female voice. What is happening? Is this a normal problem?

Regards,

Tommy

Wow....after I change my Garmin XT from 3D to North UP, my program shut down itself in my Nokia 6710. What is happening?

 After update my nokia 6710 to the latest firmware, now my Garmin XT works flawlessly. No more hang in 3D mode. Guide last for 20 min and so on without hang. Route recalculation also stable! Good prog!!

The best setting for GarminXT (Symbian os)?

Postby kamayok3 » Wed Feb 10, 2010 10:49 pm

Hi all,

I know there are a lot of setting that we need to take care of after installing the new GarminXT into our phone. So, can someone list down what to take care of?

For an example, what to set in avoidance setup and so on......... To avoid prog hang, shutdown and so on.

Maybe let me rougly list down:

1. under MAP?
2. under SYSTEM?
3. under ROUTING?
4. Under DISPLAY?
5. under AUDIO?
6. under Proximity Points? and so on...............?

Regards,

Tom
