I cannot search for road names with my gmxt when I upload maps via Mapsource. Any Solutions?

Most probably you had omitted any MFM main map when selecting map tiles.

Tip: If you're selecting only a few map tiles, zoom out and select all tiles (click and drag), and then only delete unwanted map tiles at Map Tab. This is because with MFM map, selecting directly on a tile would only highlight the polygon map tile.

I had just got my Nuvi 1450 from US and followed the installation instruction. However after the process was completed, I'm not able to see the map in the unit. I tried to searching around for the relevant topics for solution, but there are too many postings here. Can someone help? or direct me the relevant topic with link.

Have you tried letting the unit acquire the satellite signals yet? Just switch it on and place it where it can 'see' the sky above.

Please check Tools>Setting>Map>Info, make sure MFM-Garmin XXX listed there, if yes, check it and uncheck other maps if there.

It was not listed in the Map info. I have just realized that I had placed the img file in the wrong folder "Garmin". The problem is fixed now after I placed it at Map. Thanks again sakura for the extremely fast respond and MFM.

I have managed to install the MFM into just bought 1450 from US. It seems working fine until when I zoom out the browsing map by touching the "negative" icon repeatedly, the unit shutdown automatically. And I experienced the same problem whenever I repeated the same steps. Can somebody here help?
