Ok, here are the three POIs with the wrong speed limit, can someone verify and Bro Stratman could fix it afteward:

They are all supposedly 90kmh and not 110kmh.

Another correction:

Kepong MRR2 flyover, speed limit should be 60KM/H (not 80KM/H)

Sri Gombak MRR2 both sides, speed limit should be 90KM/H (not 80KM/H)

traffic roadblock at Kepong Tmn Maluri to Kepong Baru tambahan area.
it is very frequent, around 3 times a week especially in the morning.

anyone talking on the phone, not wearing seat belt, cross red light, all "sure kena". :mrgreen:

all three way need to be alert.

hai friend....iam new at here...
what is different gpi file and gdp.... just now i buy garmin 205w...what file i must copy? gdp or gpi or both can use...thank bro....

bro stratman2,

is there any way to change the alert sound for speed trap alert? i like the previous sound, the new one is a bit irritating imho. would be glad if you could show me how to change the sound.

You cannot change the alert sound as it's embedded into the custom POI files. Of course, if you make your own custom POIs you can put whatever tone or sound you like. :mrgreen:

:welcome: to MFM!

GPIs are custom Points of Interest files that can have alerts built into them while GDB (not "gdp") are Garmin database files containing tracks, routes and waypoints which you can send to a Garmin unit via the Mapsource software. For the Nuvi 2-series, only waypoints can be sent as it doesn't support routes or tracks.

To answer your question, if you want custom POIs in your Nuvi you'll need to copy the GPI files and place them in the POI folder of your Garmin folder - either in the internal memory or the external SD card.

copy gpi file and put in your POI folder..
