Just wonder about tis problem. And when i try to exclude polygone, the map not readable at all for my nuvi 3790t. Before April, all the map work great with the same way of how i generate the map. Please Help.

The latest mfm version that you can use is v110404.

The mappers need time to sort out this issue. I am sure, very soon there will be another parameter when generating the map specially for the 2xxx and 3xxx so that the their device will display polygons and at the same time, a lighter version for the older nuvis.

Hi Bro, I got try download the v110404, but same, no polygons. Only v110328 and other older then 110328 is work with polygons for my 3790. All April not work at all for polygons.

I have tried to re-install the latest MSM map but it is still the same. No matter what map I select to use, the last word seems to be truncated. So far I have experienced 2 types of voice file that display this peculiarity the speed limit one that ends with ".......limit is xx kilometers an hour" where the "hour" gets cut off. The other one is when I reach certain junction and the last words either gets chopped off or sounds garbled.

Bro, my 3790 also same like this. Also the "hour" gets cut off. I got updated msm latest one. But b4 i update it, it also same the "hour" gets cut off.

I'm using the Nuvi2360, and it will display all polygons with the mfm v110404. :-k

Now that you mention it, I believe that my 3790 also having the "hour" cut off problem even before i updated to the latest MSM 2011 map. The other prompt when approaching certain junctions is not so bad. These two prompts are internal voice in English which we cannot select and change unlike the other prompts which tells you to turn right, turn left etc. Anyone knows which file controls the internal voice prompts ? Maybe that file is corrupted for my unit and also for brother wilsonlee03's unit :(

Try this, backup ALL file ( inclusive hidden /system directory))

Erase the problem voice file / files

Then download updater and run that to replace the missing file.

After that do a hard reset

I believe I have found out what caused the "hour" to be cut off. I have reinstalled MFM CPOI 2.08 and selected "WAV" for the voice prompts instead of "MP3" The speed limit voice prompts sounds better than the previous one. I read somewhere that Nuvi 3790 does not support MP3 files. Is this a true statement ?

After upgrade my localized set to current firmware 2.5, I could load MP3 music files.

Have not tried voice files yet as quite happy with Aussie Karen's voice

From what I know, earlier versions of non-localized Nuvi 37xx series do not support MP3. Only wav files supported.

Actually, the voice that announces the speed limit, road junction, red light camera etc. is different from the voice that you can select from the "Settings - Language" window. No matter what language you select in the "Settings - Language" page, the speed limit and other related voice announcements are in English. And I am trying to see what can be done to correct the voice files that are related to these announcements. Like I mentioned before, using "WAV" format for our MF CPOI 2.08 did show some improvement of using "MP3". But it could be made betterr as the last part of the sentence (especially for speed limit announcements) is that very clear.

Sifu's...

Does the MFM map has the speed limit announcement like the one in the screenshot attached? This is from original Garmin map.

Thanks!
