Facing same problem here. No wording description for POI

Same here. as I pointed out last week. limited POI showed during navigation as the device nuvi is being locked his zoom @ 50M. ATM, Petrol station, 7 eleven store and description are all missing from the 3D map from MFM. I don't think it is garmin related as all POIs showed in preloaded MSM and city navi map

i'm facing the exact same poi problem....just shows a blank white box when we click on it...since last week's map.

hi friends, as my post last weeks all the clinics at simpang renggam area are missing their name but yet the icon still there.can u put it back on the next updated map? thanks yeah.

Wow, the updates are so frequent that I am having difficulties catching up. Anyway, I am still using the 091221 map. Am I correct to say that this seems to be the last "stable" version with no major issues?

NO. This version fix routing issues on sabah & sarawak (although not 100%). We are progressing bro.. U might want to update . Appreciate your feedback.

sorry a lil off topic, after doing the hard reset due to the poi problem, i copied my 'favourites' backup (issit the .gpx file?) into the garmin but it doesnt work. it keep override my backup file with the one after hard reset which means there's no 'favourites' data file. how can i overcome this problem? using garmin 255w tw (flashed into my/sg)

Rename backed up CURRENT.GPX to anyname.GPX and place it in \GPX folder.

i still have problem viewing some general poi's description. they just showed blank there. such as 7-11, traffic lights. some bro said its ram problem and advise me to do a hard reset and i've done it and its still the same. what could be the problem?

I got the same problem. I thought it was normal at first due to the well known icon like 7-11 etc. Example shown for JBA icon in picture (N6 08.143' E100 23.375)

Also got problem with ATM (only) icons. It showed a dot in my nuvi200. After i save the 'dot' (kept in my "favourite") then only it become the dollar sign. Example shown for RHB atm in picture (N6 08.048 E100 23.362)

Anyone else has this problem and how to fix it?

Ps: Sorry for using the flash.. my digital camera is 10 years old and somehow I cannot turn the flash off..

FYI regarding the problem..

Installation setup options chosen:
Full Customization (For Mapsource display)

Creating gmapsupp.img (generate map) using these options:
Ticked "Include Road POI" only
Marked "Full Map Display Customization"

The function of GPS still OK.. and the places are found when search for POIs.. cuma tak syiokk ma.
