I installed GMXT on my 5800 and it was functioning just perfectly yesterday night after great helps from a few sifus.

2 questions

1) How do i ensure that my phone screen does not go dim when I am navigating/driving? The screen slowly goes off when i am driving.

2) How come I cannot search by address? keep saying 'not found'. it does have the city but not the street? but when I drive to the place, it is displaying the correct street name??

Any help here?

1. go to 'tools' , 'Display', 'Back Light Override'. Select On when navigating, or always on. i choose On when navigating.
2. how did you generate the gmapsupp.img?

Hi Bro, MXT unable to record 1second track log. You need other Symbian software on 5800 in order to have 1 second track log, i.e. Nokia Sport Tracker, GPSCam, RaceChrono. Please refer HERE for more infor.
