Currently using Holux 6210+, had updated to Galactio V8.7.08, initially was ok but today encountered as follows:-

1. The software shuts down and did not boot up during navigation.
2. After turning on manually, the software prompts error msg, after pressing "OK" icon on the error pop up, it did not return to the Galatico, it went to the main page showing the "GPS", "Settings" .... have to select "GPS" manually to enter to Galatico.

Still monitoring though....

Why the new galactio v8.8 so shitty. So damn complicated. Home screen too many icons. Home and office button too close to Destination, accidentaly press on home or office then will have to wait for it to finish calculating only I can cancel and search again.

Hi i12cu,

Galactio V8 should work as we have version of Galactio running on in-dash. However as the hardware distributor often offers it as a package with the hardware that he is offering, it will depend if our distributor supports it in your location. May I know your location so I can check for you?

Interested in this software and map but mine is a in-dash Chinese unit running on Win CE 6 800x480 com3 baud 9600.
Would Galactio v8 work?

I've tried to update my Sensonic N520+, but the only map available is Singapore Map!

How do I go about it? I'm so confused...

Hi, I just bought my first GPS device (Sensonic N400X) and updated Galactio V8.8 with the latest maps.
Being new to MFM, I have visited the 'newbies'/'library' and i got a feeling that this place is more for Garmin and Papago users.
Q1. when the members updated /contributed the POIs would it be only updated on the respective map (e.g. Garmin map only) and not all other maps (say Papago / Galactio)

Q2.If i have noticed a wrong info on Galactio map ( say a wrong speed limit, or a closed junction), how do i inform and to who?

Q3. Galactio website has only shown the latest map 2012feb and MFM has already 2012Mar for download, will that mean this is the place i should come instead of Galactio official website?

Hi, GALACTIO Consultant.

I just bought my device Sensonic N580 few month ago. The map inside Navi/map folder is MFM v20111031. I wish to update the latest map "MFM-PPG-X8.5-X9-120503".
May i just download the "MFM-PPG-X8.5-X9-120503" and replace the old map?
Or i need to upgrade my software in Sensonic N580 first?

The software of Sensonic N580 GPS device use is "Galactio V8.7.0.0".

Any help will be appreciated.
