Here is how you can extract POI/Waypoint from MapSource :

1. Use a program such as GPSMapEdit (http://www.geopainting.com/en/)
2. Open *. IMG file you want to extract POI/Waypoints from
3. Select POI objects
4. Select Copyfor what-ever POI/Waypoint you want to extract from database
5. Close the map
6. Select Paste
7. Save as "Polish MP" file
8. Use a program such as Global Mapper (http://www.globalmapper.com/)
9. Open the MP file in Global Mapper
10. Select Export Vector Data to any format you like

Note: The programs used are shareware so you need to pay $

I tried these steps, but stuck at step 2, mapedit complains that it cannot read NT format, is there any solution around this?
