Please refer to this post for info on 6.15.4 - Antyong

Yesterday update my Mapsource version from 6.13.7 to latest version 6.14.1.
Found that the refresh rate is super slow. Decide not to use it. Then,
don't know how to downgrade it back to version 6.13.7.
Just uninstall whole mapsource program and Mapset.
Reinstall the Mapsource with my origin Trip & Waypoint Manager CD,
Then Reinstall Malfreemap by MFM.exe which download at here Malfreemaps.com.
after that I am notice that POI icon from v6.13.7 is not beauty as v6.14.1.
For example, Restaurant POI icon, Car service centre and shopping...etc
this only with single black color. refer to below picture.

Under Mapsource 6.13.7 you'll need to go to Edit - Preferences - Display and change Symbol Size to Large

Bro, please don't give Garmin the excuse to send me love letter :)

The method to obtain Mapsource for free is written at Malsingmaps. We can either link to Malsingmaps or create our own guide.

Yep, the method to install Mapsource right from a download from Garmin written here http://www.malsingmaps.com/wiki/index.php/How_to_install_MapSource. We can create a version for our Wiki at http://gpsmaps.wikia.com/wiki/How_to_install_MapSource, with reference to installing MFM mapset.

Or listed here under Tips on and hints on using Garmin GPS (making it not obvious) !

Apparently, GaryT on our site has also found out a one line registry hack to bypass this to get Mapsource update working.

Ah. Nice. I've made a link to your page from http://gpsmaps.wikia.com/wiki/How_to_install_Garmin_Mapsource

RC, would you mind helping out with other GPS Maps Wiki articles? I've set the wiki up as a generic wiki for similar GPS Maps mapping communities to MalFreeMaps.

Errine, follow the illustrated guide in the above link.
