Why would you need the older version? BTW, is it v2.3.5 or v2.5.3?

Which Garmin device are you using? I don't have such problem loading cPOIs with custom BMP icons into Nuvi and GMXT using POI Loader 2.5.4. Not sure how you loaded yours, but here's a good guide on using POI Loader.

sorry olso cannot i'm use mapsourcs to create cpoi sound user is ready use. but symbol bmp in gps map can't show. just (dot) only
1. add new waypoints put name
2. symbol use user bmp 24x24
3. proximity
4. comment put name
5. display symbol and name
6. file/URL user sound
save as to gps exchange file.put in new folder use poi loader 2.5.4 to convert ready copy to sd card
on my nuvi 255w cannot show icon in map ....pls pls how convert dvpro

Err... Can you check your BMP file? It need to be in "8 Bit Depth", that is, "256 Color".

No need to specify BMP icon in Mapsource. Just place BMP with similar name as GPX in same folder. Ie. if GPX is named as Waypoint.GPX, BMP should be named as Waypoint.BMP, and both files should be in same folder.
