NEW FEATURE: Option to select large icon display (courtesy of bro RM1) when generating map using MFM map generator

downloaded :peace:

what does this feature actually do? all icons become bigger?
will it cause overlapping?

Maybe it wasn't made clear of its purpose of being large. For Garmin Nuvi's, the display size is QVGA (Quarter VGA, 320 x 240), and the standard icon size are designed for such displays. For Garmin Mobile XT, it can be installed on PDA phones which have VGA (640 x 480)or WVGA displays. When u view the standard icons in such displays, the icons are puny in size. So, the icons needs to be made larger for VGA/WVGA device in order that the icons is recognizable.

In other words, if your display has a VGA or WVGA resolution, use the Large Icons option. If you have a QVGA display, then don't use the Large icons.

False Threats ( cgpsmapper bug. No harm)
Map size showing 412.6MB when view with mapsource
When u send map to device , u can read the normal map size from ur device .
