WinCE China GPS - PND, Car HU, etc.

I bought the above said GPS pre-installed with IGO8 Map of SIN, MAL & TH. After exploring for few days and accidentally I reset to factory default settings. Thus my GPS cannot be activated.

As this is parrellel import model I google the net and there was this guy did the recovery and installed the Papago X5.2 Build Mar 12 2010(10:43.59) - Map Switch Malfreemaps.com 100311.

Please advise me whether can I download th latest version of 100415 and is this compatible with my high resolution GPS.
Any input is greatly appreciated. Someone was telling papago X5 SE does not support High Res GPS but the Taiwan version can. Sori, am very new to GPS, pls forgive if i asking foolish question.

i think he is not break the rule no 6 (he not post&link illegal soft here, even his navigation soft maybe not legal but he was not link to the guys that can recover his to papago X5
he only asking "can mfm map support to hi-res.." ??

better i answer your question,
as i know, the navigation program display to the 3D map by rendering from its metadata map (polish & vector format) to the screen,
in other word metadata map can displayed in some resolution, and usually navigation program in PND support until 800x600 pixel res.
In 2D map, for high resolution screen you can get more larger map than usual, but limited to maximum zoom out (depend your mapdata).
Im not sure about different resolution support of diff PapagoX5 (taiwan vs engl), you can ask to the vendor it self,
but i was try to using same program to different PND (with diff resolution), then the navigation program only fit the map to the screen they have known of their resolution..

since i buy so many gps to our trucks, i get 5 different papago hardware format in same version..
i can say "all papago version was able to using mfm maps.."

but my one original china from http://www.papago.com.cn cannot use malaysia maps. If will be good if china version can use the malfreemaps.

GPS devices are for navigation World wide... it is strange that Papago units limit its portability. Did you load the map correctly? If this is true than it is not friendly to any World travelers. Glad that my Garmin Nuvi is working everywhere where there is a map.

yes this was no fair at all after we buy the original unit whit original software but limit us to use the maps. i also load the maps but the unit cannot detect the maps source. after email to papago china ask for help he ask me to email taiwan. useless this will take month before the problem solve.
