i'm a newbie. I just took the plunge and purchased a Nuvi 1350, This particular thread is very useful. It helped me to get more out of my Nuvi instead of just following the manual to the T and all the tips given here, were never mentioned in the manual at all. Could I have some guide line on how to update the most recent map into our device?

Honestly, I dun think u can download any Garmin maps for your devices. There are tons of cheapo Chinese made GPS devices in the market and many ppl who are are new to GPS are lured by the cheap price without realising that map support is the most important criteria when selecting a GPS and not the price. You got to email the manufacturer or google for an answer. Thanks.
