Bro,

Would plantation / estate offices be included in the maps? Reason for my asking is that many times I tag along with my technicians, and they take this junction, that fork, left here, right there (I swear they're walking GPS units!), and there is absolutely no way I can find my way back out or in again, short of writing notes in my HP.

I'd be glad to contribute tracks and POIs but I'm not too sure what buildings would be included/accepted.

So start tracking and thereafter upload the tracklogs at the appropriate feedback section. Usually after a few map releases, the road should be available in the map. now if only my Papago can guide me on my dives :D

For large estate / plantation, what I usually do is track the road (paved or unpaved) until the estate office, then mark that place as "xxx Estate / Ladang xxx" under "PLACE" category. The main reason I use place name as its category because the usual estate postage address is start with Ladang xxx. You might include school inside the estate as POI too.

Hey that's a good idea, they have clinics and hospitals too in fact, which is useful information.

Thanks!

Hi bros tichuan and sobamy, thanks for the encouragements!

Sorry for the late acknowledgement as I am a newbie and have never chatted in a forum on-line so I was lost(as I do not know where I last posted in this forum, I am still learning to find my way back).

In times of frustration, a few kind words certainly warm the heart of the sad soul. O:) O:)

Thanks again to bro sobamy and the rest for giving the advices on my stalled Nuvi 1250 after I updated the MfM maps this morning!
The hard-resetting did not work as i did it without removing the battery. :-? :-?

:tq:
