SOS PLEASE

Postby mnoor » Tue Jul 27, 2010 10:03 am

I must have not deleted the older maps when I downloaded the latest version. Now my gps hang like nobody business. It is loading maps.... for hours already. Have done hard reset by pressing the Garmin 1350 several seconds, but when it on again, still the GPS indicate loading maps!

I have tried to access the GPS drive thru my Acer notebook, but to no avail. The notebook simply cannot access to the GPS drive.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Thank you.

you must backup first your old map b4 replace new one.. [-X
and prepare the gps with enough charged battery at least 80% full to update map.

Maybe what you said was true, either file corrupted and get confused with the new one. My I can't access to my GPS drive. If only, I could access it, I think I can do the necessary deletion of the old file. Any idea how to access the GPS drive. It seemed that as and when I on the notebook with the GPS attached to it, the GPS will start to load the map which come back to square 1. I have the battery of the GPS, but still when on the notebook, it will load the map and hang!

Any idea how now I can access the GPS drive?

try this:
1. USB Data high quality cable, with ferrite core.
2. Y-USB Power Cable, cascade your current slot to boost power.
