Re: Papago x5 without voice when navigating????

Actually the voice file for X3 and X5 is the same, so i take the voice file from X3 and put it on X5. But X3 work fine, but X5 didn't have voice when navigating and cannot show current speed.

Problem for papago X5 SE notification

Postby jeffreychia » Sun Sep 12, 2010 11:26 pm

When i'm using Papago X3, the system notice 3 times before have a turn which is when 500meter, 300meter, and 100meter.

But when i'm using Papago X5 SE, the system just notice 2 times before have a turn which is when 300 meter, and 100 meter.

Anyone know how to set the system to notice 3 times as Papago X3 above that i mention?

Thanks!

From what i observed, the file that control this function is at ~SAVE\sys.cfg

But i dunno use what editor or tools to edit it.

If anyone know, please tell me.

How to update Papago X5 map?

Postby phenol » Tue Nov 02, 2010 11:28 pm

Hi, I am new here !!!
I am using Papago X5.1 Build:Aug 6 2010 with map version of Malfreemaps.com 100415 in my Android phone (with Froyo).
Can anybody help to enlighten on how can I update my map to C100716 Beta version?

I have downloaded MFM-PPG-C100716B.rar file and got it extracted into MFM-PPG-C100716B.exe file.
Executing MFM-PPG-C100716B.exe gave me Navi/Maps/MFM-PPG-C100716B folder with 27 files inside.

With this files, how can I update my maps?

I have tried my luck to copy/replace these 27 files into below path; (original maps contents are in sdcard/NaviSEA/Maps/MALAYSIA)
1) sdcard/NaviSEA/Maps/MALAYSIA --> failed. Papago said "Cannot open map"
2) sdcard/NaviSEA/Maps --> failed. Papago said "Cannnot open map"
3) sdcard/NaviSEA/Maps/MFM-PPG-C100716B --> failed. Papago said "Cannot open map"

Can anybody help to advise the correct way to update my maps?

Thanks a lot..
