i've installed MFM Malaysia map but i want to change to another map (downloaded an Australia map gmapsupp.img).. how do i make MapSource to open this Australia map?

Hi navlink! Mapsource cannot read the *.img file. Those files are for your PND. For mapsource, you need to install the map, just like you did for the mfm map.
mfm : magnificent free maps
Garmin nüvi 2575RLM v2.80, Garmin 60CSx v4.00, Garmin nüvi 205W(patched), Papago R5800 X8.5, Qstarz Q1000P (Datalogger)

If you go through the Library, and look for 'Free Garmin Community Maps', you should find some leads.

hi all,

I need help pls.

Just changed a new notebook, need to reinstall Mapsource. Previously, I had no issue at all.

So i installed the following
MapSource_6156.exe
MFM-Garmin-100606.exe

From the mapsource Utilities -> Map product manager, I can see mfm map of the same version. Yet I cannot see any map in the map area in mapsource???? The Find->Places function in mapsource is disabled, and I cannot search and go anywhere. So map area is just a blank. :cry:

Pls help me.

Suspect corruption in mapsource or map.
Do a clean uninstallation, manually remove all traces of mapsource in lappy system registry and then re-install.

Have you verified at "View > Switch to Product" that MFM map is ticked?

Same as what dvpro already mentioned, but via drop-down button. There are no map shown if 'no map' selected.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
