From Garmin site: http://www8.garmin.com/support/download ... jsp?id=209

And here's a good trick by Bro MoeyHC to bypass the requirement to have previously installed Mapsource: viewtopic.php?p=127598#p127598

Hi everyone, this is Merz! Do not own a nav device but seriously thinking of either buying an iphone4 or samsung galaxy smartphone to use for navigation (and of course for other things like making calls, etc). Very very new to this navigation so would appreciate advice. I really need a turn by turn voice navigation to be used within Kota Kinabalu, SAndakan and Tawau as well as the journey to and fro kk sandakan and kk tawau. I have literally no sense of direction at all but need to be going to specific destinations (e.g. particular shoplots, houses, malls, etc) soon. Was thinking of saving some money by not buying a standalone nav device (e.g. garmin nri) and go for a new smartphone (really need a new phone as mine broken and have been using a very old phone around 7 years old!).

Can anyone please tell me whether iphone4 or samsung galaxy (os android) is better for such a purpose and whether can use the map provided here? Do your maps here cover KK, Tawau and Sandakan with voice navigation? I apologise if my questions seem ignorant bcos as I said I for the past week spending alot of time googling and reading, trying to find which option to take but found very little is mentioned about voice turn by turn navigation for use within KK, Sandakan and Tawau. Looking forward to all your useful advice.

Hi guys... greeetings from Labuan! Been haunting MFM for quite some time, I guess it's time to get off the midnight train and get on board here.

Needing occassional GPS in a new surrounding, used Garmin XT on N95 till it broke (the N95), so switched to Papago X5 on HTC Desire. Missed Garmin and lovingly hate Papago, so I did some homework and have successfully implemented using Desire as a external GPS linked by Bluetooth to Asus Eee PC 900.
