GPSAustralia forum

Postby octapc » Sun Oct 17, 2010 3:18 pm

Hi,

I own and run (along with 8 moderators) the gpsaustralia.net forum and it has come to my attention that MFM is the true free map for the community whilst MSM has done a deal with Garmin. We support any site that encourages free maps, data and support as it in turn encourages all to make something as good as, if not better than the commercial products.

In future I will ensure that MFM receives the accolades for much of the great work and inform everyone that MSM is not as up to date as MFM and is limited due to commercial ties with Garmin.

Keep up with the good work!

By the way you don't need to do 10 posts in our forum to download maps!

Nicko

Maybe MFM and your GPSAustralia can be a "sister forum", let share the info and development together. :peace:

Welcome Nicko! Perhaps we can share the mapping experience among the 2 forums.
