I've installed versions .50 and .60 on my N8 and they don't work for me. It quits after the splash screen. Version .40 started but had no touch support for some reason. Does anybody have any ideas? Maybe the fact that I had .40 installed first on this memory card has messed something up? Thanks for any ideas!

You have to reinstall the garmin

Interested to know how is the MXT map browsing speed & stability in N8? N8 have 3d chip which dont appear in older symbian phone. I still remember i cant browse map in MXT installed on N97 else the app freeze. Hmm dont think the old MXT is 3d accerelated as well...

You have to reinstall the garmin

How do you install? Using card reader or from your phone? If you use phone, go to menu > setting > connectivity > usb > mass storage. If you install through OVI, there will be some files missing due to N8 security system. I advice not to reinstall on previously installed garmin or previously uninstalled garmin due to conflict on private, resource, sys folder (system files - usually hidden). Better to backup your movies, songs and picts and reformat the card through your phone. Then install garmin.

N5800 is 3.2"

not much difference in screen display. hopefully Nokia better catch up with other phone brands

Thank for sharring .just install to my Nokia C7 . everything work well. Guy, remember dun use the ori build Ovi Map if u dint sign up the internet unlimited . there charge damn expresive. better use garmin.
