I went to KL this week and testing Papago map and Garmin City Navigator map around KL, Kajang, and Klang.
And my conclusion; Papago is the best and the junction view is perfect.
So, using Papago in KL, I'll never lost...TQ for the Papago team

Beware of a few Junction View and Lane Assist. It does show "oppersite", JV shown Turn Left, Voice Command ask to Turn Right. The correct 1 is follow the voice. This problem hope to retify by next release.

If compared to Garmin( all maps version ), I think Papago map is very helpful. And hope that MfM teams can check again the "opposite" lane assist. :peace:

Hi Moderator,
Just some feedback. This current file hosting is very slow.. Where about 14 KB download speed and it took 5 hours to download 295MB.. This is really discourage in long run due to rapid map update of MFM in nature.. The hosting that you guys host last time does not has this problem.. It seems like the new file hosting encourage us to PAY for the fast download... If so, really a wast of effort for MFM. Where you guys have a good mapping but all this being degraded with the hosting.. Just my 2 cents of opinion..

No one is helping to pay MfM hosting, especially this day all the data center hosting will based on the traffic that we use. The bigger files that mfm maps goes, the more heavy traffic it goes.

The public FREE File Hosting is the ONLY way for us to support the map being release.

We had more than 3000 copies of PPG map downloaded over the 30 days, this mean we are facing more than 1Tb of traffic being transfer. And, also have more than 3000 copies of Garmin maps being downloaded every week and it constribute nearly another 1Tb of traffic monthly. With total of minimum 2Tb of traffic being serve, this is EXTREMLY costly!

I DON'T expect anyone of you guys that complaints about the download speed will understand these figures. For those who understood, I believed they won't make any demand for this.

It's best to keep these download data private. Any data release should be done by the Admin.

This is No a confidential data, in fact, the general download traffic information I had make public available. Members are freely to check it out @ http://www.1gps.com.my/mfmlog/

I will see if my time are permited or not, I will try to produce a detail weekly download report for public.

Bro shawchyn, is there any more option to use more free file hosting server (like rapidshare, etc etc) instead of using just FileServe?
