MFM Garmin has JCV?

Postby sakura » Thu Dec 09, 2010 7:40 pm

Like what I know MFM does not support JCV.
But I can see JCV in MFM!
Do MFM now has this feature or do I miss something? :-?

Note:
I have multiple map in my mSD card including MSM NT. Use Nuvi 1460.
I'm very sure only MFM files selected in map info.

Try removing the MSM NT map, then try it out again. See if the JCV appears. FYI, only Papago maps by mfm have JCV, but NOT for Garmin.

y u want to do that? good wat.. having MSM JV and MFM map..

so meaning u are basically using MFM to drive around, but when at a junction, MSM JV pops up? THIS IS COOL..

this is exactly what i was trying to do.. having the best of both worlds.. i LOVE to have JV on my unit, but dont like the outdated MSM maps..

Not all maps shown here, but please notice:
1. only MFM files selected
2. MSM NT 2010.40 not selected
3. City Navigator Singapore/Malaysia 2010.20 not selected.

Interesting...

1. What is your 1460 current firmware version ?

2. MFM map is store in sdcard ?

3. How about Garmin JCV file, store in unit or sdcard ?

Thanks

Would be interesting to replicate it on another unit.
