How about maps of Malaysia and Spore ?

How does one do the update on a android phone like htc desire ? Read somewhere about the method on this forum but now cannot find it anymore....

Can someone kindly point out the particular thread on this one...thanks in advance....

Presumably you have X5. Download the MFM Papago map (the C version), install it onto your PC (C: drive); make sure you choose the correct option for Android X5. Then go to the \Navi directory of your C drive where the map has been installed, drilled down to Maps, and find the map file. Copy this map file to somewhere, and rename it to Malaysia.

Then copy this Malaysia file to the SD card of your Desire - \NaviSEA\Maps to replace the old Malaysia file. You're done.

Thks Bro., for your advice.....

Just one other thing...do I need to delete the old files in the Malaysia folder BEFORE replacing them with the updated ones ??

if u worry about delete, just rename the old file to something else like "malaysia_old"
from Garmin Que for Pocket PC to Garmin Mobile XT for Windows Mobile to Nuvi 205W to Papago M9 for Android & now Garmin Nuvi 2576.
