someone that was frustated of falome map update came to me, last week.
then i give him latest falome update map & falome patch (march 2010).. but it's still not have new highway near Kelang.
so, i try to install papago X3 in his Sensonic & latest January map and surprisingly it's running well in his gps.
actually falome is 'very' similar (all feature, function & menu) with papago X3, i can said falome is new skin of X3.
i recommended him to buy the X5 program from m3gps then after that delete the X3 later..
normal wrote:Dear Inggo, mind to share where to get Papago X3 installer for N520 ? (I guess it is for Win CE 6.0, right ?) and also the steps to install it ?

Inggo wrote:Actually that X3 it's mine.
but if you want to papago, better ask to M3Gps distributor, M3Asia at Phileo Damansara.
as i know they sell papago about Rm 149 (?) for new one.
tips: check your com port first before buy, cause there is such hardware configuration in Papago.
as i know N520 was using com port 1 to handshaking to gps chipset.
The different com port number of papago version cannot using to your Sensonic N520.
quester wrote:Just upgade my Sensonic N520 map. now latest with Map ver : 3-1-11
Now the instruction of How I did it:-
1)I download MFM-PPG-110103C.exe from here.
2)Click to install it into my harddisk
Note: this will automaticaaly create a new folder call "Navi" in your harddisk.
3)I switch on my N520 GPS and connect to my PC.
4)Now I make a backup the original whole "Navi" folder from my Sensonic N520 to my PC.
5)Now copy all the file from your "Navi" folder (the one which you installed) to your N520 under "Navi/Map/Malaysia" folder.
Note: Don't not delete any other file cos that is the Falome system file. Only copy all the files from PC "Navi" to your Sensonic N520 "Navi/Map/malaysia" folder only.
6)Then switch on your Falome.
7)Go to the Navi Info under Advanced Settings
8)And touch in the info icon
9) It will now show you a screen telling you your current map version.
Hope this help.
normal wrote:Hi quester,
juz to clarify.
u meant...
1. Copy all files in "Navi/Maps/MFM-PPG-110103C" folder(in local hard disk) and overwrite files in "Navi/Maps/Malaysia" folder(in N520) ? Outcome : only "Malaysia" sub folder will exist in "Navi/Maps".
OR
2. Copy folder "MFM-PPG-110103C"(in local hard disk Navi/Maps folder) to "Navi/Maps/"(in N520) ? Outcome : "Malaysia" and "MFM-PPG-110103C" sub folder will co-exist in "Navi/Maps".
Note: After install MFM-PPG-110103C.exe, I got Navi/Maps/MFM-PPG-110103C in local hard disk.
