Re: Changing Nuvi 3xx Series Battery
Insert a sharp prick/screwdriver into the slot to slide the spring lock that holds the antenna assembly to the housing. This mechanism is similar to the 'Toilet Roll Holder'
Slide the latch back and lift the antenna assembly up.
The locking pin.

Re: Changing Nuvi 3xx Series Battery
Filp the antenna back to its position and secure it with tape. You need not remove the antenna for a battery change.
Remove the two back cover screws. Your Nuvi is ready to be pry open.
To open the cover Start Here. This seem to be the easiest place to start.

Re: Changing Nuvi 3xx Series Battery
Work along the perimeter to open the cover
Slowly lift the cover up (LCD face up) Be careful there are cables connecting the two halves. Locate the antenna connector as shown.
Flip the connector lock up to free the cable.
edit: all pictures missing - redo Aug 03, 2009

Remove the antenna cable
Remove the Philips head screw. This is the only screw that hold the PCB.
Flip the PCB over to the LCD assembly

Disconnect the Speaker and Battery Connectors
The task is done. Pry the battery out using a flat head screwdriver. It is secure to the base with double sided tape only.
The battery removed and ready for the new replacement.
Hope you like the photo shoot....
Batteries not included...
... cheers!
Use at your own risk...
Happy New Year!
