what's the proper procedure to install the new maps on an iPhone?

download, install, ???, ssh to phone, ??? , use it

coz i tried on the February one and failed (papago crashes when loading maps)

Method 1. (For Jailbroken iphone 4)

1. Jailbreak your iphone 4 then navigate to /var/mobile/Applications/PPG!SGMYPRO/PPG!SGMYPRO.app/Navi/Maps/MFM/
2. Then create a backup of your original map
3. Copy your ppg map data and paste to this that location.
4. Remember to rename Papago.dbp to papago.dbp, standard.mb6 to Standard.mb6, standard_L.mb6 to Standard_L.mb6 and MapAniPOI.psu to MapAniPOI.psz
5. Start your papago app and enjoy

Thx this worked for me... what i did was to SSH only the .R51 files into the phone, then copy all the remaining files from the original Maps folder...

oh one more thing... any idea how to use this on Mac OS??? haha... (other than bootcamp.. )

ok nvm i solved my own problem:
1) download and install Wine http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/wine/
2) after installing open Wine.app in /Applications/
3) a few windows would open. select the Create Prefix one
4) Press the + button and save the prefix in ~/Documents or ~/ A x11 window would open (be patient)
5) Right click the MFM-PPG-110301C.exe file and Open With Wine
6) Navigate to the ~/Documents/(wine prefix name)/drive_c/Navi/Maps or ~/(wine prefix name)/drive_c/Navi/Maps and do your stuff =)
Done.

** You would need X11 installed first... You can download it from http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki/Releases

How do I know if this map is compatible with my papago? I am using Papago R6600_x6.
If this map is not compatible, how can I find one which is compatible with my papago?

Bro... MFM-Papago is the official Papago map for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei!

I managed to dl the map...extract it out... and save into my unit. After I restart, I could see the new map. Fantastic!!
However, when I switch map, I can't switch back to the Malaysian map?!

Menu --> Advance Settings --> Software --> Map Switch

Help anyone?!

Guys you did a great job maintaining this is site and all, but one thing that is not so well thought of and annoying to me is the download hosts

you can use more than 1 map in papago, even it's same map.
just create some folder in your navi\maps such as navi\maps\mfm_Januari, navi\maps\mfm_februari, navi\maps\mfm_march .. etc
so you can select which one of your map collection want to use.

anyway, march version is smaller than previous versions.

i have saved the files into navi\maps...following your advise, I maintained my old map and opened a new folder to keep the new files. but i can't seem to see the new folder. I also noticed that the new files are short of 2 files compared to my old one.... tried copy the 2 files which the new map doesnt have also doesnt help

Not sure if it makes any sense to u... but the options (i.e. the name of the maps) @
Menu --> Advance Settings --> Software --> Map Switch --> <name of maps>
are not the same as the name of the folders in
Navi\Maps\ <name of folder>

another question, does it matter that when I extract the files, the version of my unit which i chose is for Papago x5 (retail)?? There is none for Papago x6.N I am using Papago R6600 x6!
