Feedback : can't u-turn, test in mapsourse can't u-turn, papago show can u-turn.

:tq:

I suspect (suspect only ah, don't bombard me ah) PAPAGO will ask you to u-turn at ANY traffic light junction.

I'm not able to confirm this at the moment as most traffic lights in Kota Kinabalu allow us to make u-turn. When I simulate route in KL, it seems that it has no problem to find a the nearest u-turn. Most of them at the nearest traffic light.

This can be a very serious issue. Can someone confirm this please?

Thanks!

Please provides co-ordinates for our Sabah mapper to verify.

ANY?. Pls dont give general feedback like this. Pls identify which 1? And there are also many traffic light junction that allow u to u turn.
Traffic light icon has got nothing to do with routing. I need to change the turn-restriction.
Bare in mind, if u r using cracked or tweaked or the like software, the routing maybe caused by the software.

Papago 110301C took me for a long ride ..

Postby zafraynn » Fri Mar 18, 2011 11:10 am

I was in PUDU area travelling towards Bangi/Nilai. Target destination was Bdr Seri Putra Bangi. Papago took me thru Pudu > Jln Lok Yew > Sg Besi then cutting thru Salak Selatan > UPM. Whereas it should have just maintain straigth to KL/Seremban h'way all the way without any turning and saving time. I lost about 25 minutes in this tour of Salak Selatan. My normal route straight using the Sg.Besi >KL>Seremban usually takes me only 23 minutes to destination. But Papago 110301C took me for a ride thru Salak Selatan arriving at my destination in 50 minutes .
Why did it do this ? :-?

Yeah, right. :) Only I hope someday anykind of gps device or software can give us choice which way to use. And at that time anyone can give information 1 of 2 choices (the long way or short one) to go some place. :D Just imagine. Dont bam bam boom me ya \:D/

If you can show it in mapsource, it's easy for us to understand what 's the problem

Why I followed it was because maybe it was taking me thru a shorter & faster route but it didn't & I was checking on the 110301C ... Hmmmm !! 8-)

And I don't understand why you are laughing about it ?? :-k

Strange behavior
