1. my nuvi1350 got waypoints category - but found there is no category in the Ore450
All handhelds do not have category feature
2. no night mode? even my etrex prev got night mode
This is new to me![]()
my unit bought thru mail order (local) - im a bit puzzle on some things
1. no sirim cert?? dealer cert??
IMHO this is a business decision by Garmin... to be certified or not![]()
2. no plastic protector on the screen??
All Garmin do not come with one ... you could have negotiate with seller to provide one.
3. no warranty card - seller said no warranty card in all garmin product??
Garmin is international warranty. Service center for this region is via Garmin Taiwan. Warranty card should come unless yours is used / refurbished etc...
[unit preloaded with MFM in main memory, and software version 4.31, yesterday i updated to 4.32 beta]
maybe someone can enlighten me on things i post above - thx in advance

Re: Oregon Series
this is my observation re handheld mapping units like oregon, 6ocsx, colorado, etc. they don't have voice guidance but only beeps, unlike nuvi or navigational devices.
with regards to 6ocsx superior to oregon, i dont think so. the resolution, user friendly feeatures of oregon is far more superior to 60csx. even colorado series of garmin can not match with the oregon in terms of being user friendly.
